Cure for gynecomastia

The charge for gynecomastia surgery at hospitals in India is very low when compared to that in many western countries. There are different cures depending on the type of excess tissue growth in the male breast area. It is a condition whereby a male will develop excess glandular tissue in one or both breasts. In some cases, a male may develop larger-than-desired breasts as a result of excess fat tissue development, a condition known as pseudo-gynecomastia. It is estimated that forty to sixty percent of all males will develop it at some point in their lives. The cures depend on the cause of a patient’s condition. One of the most common causes is hormonal changes in puberty. Nearly three of every four adolescent boys will develop it. In most cases no cures are necessary, as the condition usually disappears within months. Ninety percent of cases in puberty resolve on their own within three years. In the majority of these cases, no cures are necessary. If the condition doesn’t resolve with time, a patient may wish to consider discussing their condition with a doctor to determine if there are other causes of their condition and what the appropriate cures might be.
